New to CCFH... What to expect this Sunday.

We want your first visit to be an enjoyable experience. That's why we have created this special section just for you. This way you can have a better idea what to expect when you visit.

The basics...

Christ's Church of Fountain Hills is an independent non-denominational church. This simply means we are a Bible-based church and use the Bible as our focus point. We are not a part of any large denominational organization. CCFH was founded by our current Pastor Donald Lawrence on May 4th, 1984.

Start times and worship locations...

The Sunday service starts promptly at 10:00 am. The Adult Service takes place in the Worship Center. The Children's Service (preschool to 5th grade) takes place in the Children's Ministry Area (500). Middle School and High School meets in the Youth Ministry (300).

Additionally, there is an Adult Sunday School class which begins an hour before the regular service at 9:00 am. This class is typically taught by Pastor Gary and is an in-depth Bible study. Contact Pastor Gary for with any questions about the Adult Sunday School. Currently Adult Sunday School Class is not meeting. Class resumes September 12.

What to expect at the Adult Service...

Service begins as we worship through music...
Typically, our Praise and Worship Team begins the service with contemporary music as we lift our voices and hearts in praise and worship to the Lord God Almighty!

the Lord's Supper (Communion)...
after the message, we practice an "open" Communion Service (Lord's Supper). By that, we mean that you do not have to be a member of this congregation to participate. All Christians are welcome to share in the emblems as they are passed up and down each row. Simply serve yourself, replace the cup into the tray and then pass the tray to the person seated next to you.

the offering and special music...
after the Lord's Supper, we have special music where select members share their God given talents with the rest of the congregation. We have quartets, chime choir, soloists, and performances by members of the Praise and Worship team. During the special music we pass the offering plates so that our members can participate in the financial support of our ministries at Christ's Church. We do not expect our visitors to give. You are our guests. Please enjoy the service. We would, however, appreciate your filling out the attendance card and placing it in the offering plate.
